After the hacking yesterday I had to get my self together and make a post. It was really scary waking up to the fact that someone got into my site and made a really crazy post with probably dangerous links. Luckily I was the only one that saw the post on the site but all got a notification. Deleted post, took him off as author, installed security plugin and made a complete scan. All OK
About Art Work
This is another experiment using Joan’s prompts. Basically I used 2 colors + black and white.

יום קשוח, אבל ציור ממש יפה מטורף שהוא עשוי רק משתי צבעים מרגיש כל כך יותר
Thanks Noam., and for your help. Did some tweaking on notification email. Need a few more but getting there.
כל הכבוד סבתוש, התמודדת עם זה מצויין ופתרת את זה מהר! ❤️
Thanks! Glad I got on top of it! My obsessive nature!
Carol – the boundary-busting spammers do leave us unsettled, right? Predators of cyberspace. They drive me bonkers.
But this piece! Like a softened Rutenberg painting! I adore it!
OMG! Me and Rutenberg (blush) Thanks. I will do more of these exercises.
Carol, I absolutely love this piece. The composition, colors, textures, organic lines/marks and rhythm are both evocative (make me respond with my own interpretations and meaning), and compelling leading to the intersection of paths in and paths out beyond edges.
Thanks so much! One thing I learned from this set of prompts was that one told me to divide with 2 lines ,turn 90, and then with 3 more. What I took away from this was that I need to structure my work earlier in the process in my CWM.
I do too — I think I’m often getting lost in the middle otherwise. Great advice!!😊
נותן לי תחושה של יער עמוק בלילה ממש יפה
Thanks Rutie. I love hearing what others see in my art.
Love this, Carol. Great depth. It almost looks 3D in some areas.
So glad you got things worked out on your site. xoxo
Thanks so much Sheila. Yes, it’s amazing what one can do by setting limitations, color, tools, etc. Hope all is well with you. Brachot.
ahhhhh, the gifts of a limited palette! I’m pulled to explore the cruciform composition, the contrast of linearity and softnesses, and the varied values. I like that following the prompts has led you to see that you need to structure your work earlier in the process—and you give me something to consider as well with that learning. What does CWM stand for?
CWM is cold wax medium. I make my own. Thanks so much for your feedback. Thanks for pointing out the cruciform composition. I hope to make a set of prompts for my oil painting with cold wax. I love linework and since my workshop with Sara Post have been using it more and more,
