Crossing my fingers

Crying

I am crying

not tears,

They dried up

a long time ago.

I am crying

I am crying

in my heart,

for what is lost

and what will be lost

I am crying

I am crying

for ears that are blocked

for eyes that don’t see

for lips that don’t

call out

I am crying

The poem is a draft of what I have been feeling these past few days!

Hopefully if this post reaches you that I may have solved the new mailer issue.

Here is another painting from the collage series that I feel maybe be finished.  Oils and Cold Wax plus blotted tissue paper collage!

  1. well, your post arrived safely and i wrote a long response, with delight, but it appears NOT to have gone through. instead a message appeared saying “This looks like spam. Try to rephrase, or contact us in an alternative way.” I’m wondering, also, if my comment from your previous post made it to you; looks like it may not have.

    waaaaaa.

I don’t have the bandwidth to rewrite in this moment but will get back to you eventually.

  2. Your words and art touch me deeply…I am teary just reading about your tears. Sending big hugs, much love and a whoop-whoop for the oils and collage! Divine!

  3. נדיר נוגע מאוד
מבטא היטב את מכלול הרגשות והעצב של הזמן הזה. והציור מקסים מקסים

  4. Thanks so much for your feedback. Glad you feel the calmness of the piece. Poem represents my feelings about what is going on here and deaf ears of our so called government, the feeling of many. Brachot!

  5. Your post has reached me, and there is a clear, self-evident way to comment! All good! \”Crying\” speaks strongly, fiercely. The repetition is strong thread stitching the stanzas together, each stanza\’s having its own clear message. A particularly compelling phrase: \”not tears;\” sets up tension and curiosity. This painting from your collage series could well be finished. It holds implied story, and draws me in accordingly. The bold yellow and red lead me to the captivatingly, and much quieter, scumbled light blue-gray patches which both excite in their texturality and offer a resting place. — Were you able to see my comments from yesterday? Want to be sure that end of things was/is working/
