Slow Burner

It’s been a long month

New Year’s and all the holidays

with weekends mixed in.

New gr-granddaughter Ellie,

new status!

Feel so blessed!

New intensive online workshop

with Sara Post!

Lots of inspiration,

Great community!

And lots of work!

New computer

not quite set up!

Is it any wonder

that my blog was put on

slow burner!

Just covering the white substrate is enough to give you something to react to.

We looked at various artists work:

  • Helen Frankenthaler
  • Nanou Jacobs
  • John Zurier
  • Inga Dal
  • David Hockney

  1. Dear Slow Burner, it is ALL wonder: the new year, the new great-granddaughter, your new status, the new intensive online workshop, your new computer! Blessings every which way!

And art-wonders also: bee-scribbles in honey, orville and wilbur about to take off, a salt marsh, my neighbor’s new fence.

I took a look at John Zurier’s work since his name is new to me. I’d like to see some of his paintings up close, would like to watch him work on a canvas.

    Thanks for your post, Carol!

    1. Thanks, all is Wonder! Making a mark where there was nothing a “wonder”!
Looked for more info on our resource page just found examples. There is probably more on web.

  2. Welcome new great-granddaughter! Welcome new year! Welcome looking at modern masters and beginning these glorious substrates! A portal for new beginnings and transformation. xoxox
