Well not quite but could be. This piece has been on my easel for so long that it’s like part of the furniture. I started it when Jerry and Rebecca announced their first digital Juried Exhibition in 2024. Well this piece wasn’t submitted and many attempts were made to finish it. It is part of my ongoing Sea Sand Salt series. Just couldn’t get the sand/salt area to work.

Finally in a frenzy that only I can do, covered it with cold wax, Oms let it sit and actually scraped away 2 years of paint.

I finally got it working and submitted it for the Cold Wax Academy critique. I was fortunate that my submission was chosen and some constructive suggestions were made which I haven’t decided to implement!

Below image after scraping!
